Communication Access Real time Translation– The immediate translation of the spoken language into text and showed in various forms. English text is bent with less than a two-second delay. Example: a CART writer sits next to a learner in a classroom and pay attention to the professor, transcribe all that is heard, and the text is being shown on the computer screen so the student can read along side.

• Onsite CART can be offered for classes, training sessions ,meetings and special events. Remote CART can also be offered.

• Remote CART is the same as onsite CART apart from the provider is in a different location and listens to an occurrence through the use of a phone or Voice Over IP connection.
